Drawing for Adults and Children

This is a class that combines the enthusiasm of children with the focus of adults. Most people in the class are parents and their children, but children or adults are also welcome on their own! In this class the basics of drawing are explored through weekly demonstrations and a cumulative project that spans the weeks. The course begins with clothed figure drawing and learning to draw proportionately. The ability to draw clothing and folds will be covered in another week. The students will then select the most interesting figure drawing to create a new piece with a background interior. The classes will cover the depiction of three dimensional space on a two dimensional surface: perspective. As the course proceeds, the students will be discussing what sort of narrative or emotions they can convey in these drawings. To Register Online Click Here.
